Mental Health Storytelling with MTV

Developing and facilitating Mental Health story telling workshops for MTV’s internal and external production teams.

In 2021 MTV Entertainment Group committed to addressing the mental health crisis in the US by doing no harm, increasing storylines, and training all content creators.

Recognising that understanding of these issues change over time, MTV, along with a coalition of leading entertainment companies and expert partners developed the Mental Health Media Guide, a resource to allow content creators to get up-to-date information and tools to tell impactful mental health stories that reflect the authentic experiences of their viewers.

Throughout 2022, in partnership with Global & Collective, Impact Culture developed and facilitated training with MTV’s internal and external production teams (scripted and unscripted) - including leading culture setting shows such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, Basketball Wives and Tean Wold Wolf Pack.
